I'm not sure where all the time has gone, but we have had a wonderful last week or two here. Since Zala's birthday bash we had a very fun playdate at a sprayground/wading pool in North KC, a very fun Family Picnic at Leawood City Park with some friends, and visits from Uncle Scott, Uncle Ty & Hannah, as well as Father's Day Festivities. I'm just going to plop in a few slideshows.
Zala is one! Her birthday festivities began on Saturday, when we had family over to grill and otherwise hang out. Zala is a very blessed little girl--everyone was able to come, and Zala got some very cute and very thoughtful gifts. Today was her actual birthday. I took she and Ziga to Antioch Park and we ate some lunch, played, and walked around. Tonight, we went to On the Border for some dinner, and came home and played some more outside. All in all, a wonderful birthday celebration!
We had a great get-together on Friday with Ziga's friends Sam & Ella, who we met at last fall's PAT playgroup. We went to the Arboretum, one of our FAVORITE places. I mean, what's not to like. It's pretty and it's free, and the trails are great! Anyway, the kids did a lot of running around and I believe everyone took good naps that day!
Yesterday, cousin Avery and Lindsay paid us a visit! Ziga and Zala and I had a blast hanging out with them. Avery is getting to be such a big girl--sitting up, rolling all over the place, and I think she and Zala will be good buds soon!
